Lauren lives in Birmingham, Alabama where she grew up and is married to her husband, Parker. She counsels individuals, couples, and families. Lauren received a B.A. in Communication with a minor in Human Development and Family Sciences from Auburn University. Afterwards, she completed her Biblical Counseling Certificates at Christian Counseling and Educational Foundation (CCEF) while then continuing at Westminster Theological Seminary (WTS) in the Master of Arts in Counseling (MAC) degree program. Lauren also serves on staff at Mountain Brook Community Church part-time where she ministers to youth, young adults, and families.
Lauren believes in personal ministry because God is personal with us. She is passionate about meeting people where they are with empathy in suffering while holding fast to the hope found in the cross. In her spare time, Lauren enjoys painting at a local gallery, exploring the coffee and food scene in Birmingham, and traveling with her husband and family.
