Jimmy is a native of Charlotte, NC but has resided in Florida since marrying Kelly in 2004.  Jimmy and Kelly met while on staff with Campus Crusade for Christ where Jimmy served for 10 years.  He left staff to pursue pastoral ministry where he has served as a staff pastor in Tampa for 4 years doing the bulk of the counseling ministry.

He received his B.A. in Communication Studies at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and his Biblical Counseling Certifications from the Christian Counseling and Education Foundation (CCEF, a Westminster Seminary partner) out of Philadelphia.

It has been Jimmy’s personal experience of Jesus’ powerful work in the midst of his own brokenness and suffering along with the many church members he has walked with who have struggled with sin and suffering that has led him to pursue full-time biblical counseling.

In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his wife Kelly, and his five children, on the baseball field, watching movies, at the beach, working on cars or watching football.
