Donna first developed a passion for counseling through her experience serving college students while ministering with a college ministry. She received her B.A. from George Washington University and later received her M.A. in Biblical Counseling from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, where she studied the intersection of God’s truth and comfort with the reality of life’s suffering.
She and her husband live with their children just outside DC. Having experienced chronic physical suffering herself, she is passionate about entering into the suffering of others with compassion, while also holding onto a confidence of Christ’s nearness and goodness in pain. She takes a holistic, empathetic approach to clients and enjoys helping teens and women who are experiencing a wide variety of life’s challenges. She has experience and special interest in serving those dealing with abuse, trauma, depression, and anxiety, as well those dealing with suffering from loss, illness, singleness, and relational difficulties.
