Having been raised in Northern Virginia most of her life, Victoria considers herself a native of the area. Currently, she lives in Fairfax with her husband and best friend, Cassius. Victoria holds a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology from George Mason University, and worked as a software engineer and government contractor for several years before the Lord called her into ministry. After leaving her job in the tech industry, she returned to school full-time to pursue her Master of Arts in Counseling at Westminster Theological Seminary. In the near future, Victoria hopes to share the gospel and provide biblical counseling as an overseas missionary in Japan with her husband.
With a history of childhood trauma and mental illness, Victoria experienced God’s pursuing love firsthand in the church and later in the counseling room. She considers it a privilege to be present with and walk alongside others through all the phases of life, including both the joys on the high mountaintops and the uncertainties in the shadowy valleys. She believes God always sees and pursues us in love no matter where we have been or where we find ourselves, and that true heart change can only come about by abiding in Jesus Christ.
Victoria enjoys going on dates with her husband, hearing the stories of others over bubble tea, walking and jogging, and reading all kinds of books on the Christian faith—from Van Tilian theology to pastoral counseling and discipleship.
