Leo Chen

In 2012, Leo earned his master’s degree in biochemistry, but felt called to full-time ministry. God provided for his journey, allowing him to earn a Master of Divinity degree and serve at Faith Bible Church for nearly ten years, starting in 2015. After being ordained as a minister in 2019, he began teaching seminary classes in 2024. To further equip himself for his ministry, he is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Counseling at Westminster Theological Seminary.

Throughout this journey, God has been gracious to Leo and his family. He met his wife, Angie, in high school. Unbeknownst to them at the time, they would become each other’s first love, eventually marrying more than a decade later. After six years of marriage, God answered their prayers with the birth of their precious daughter, Elianna, in 2022. God has been faithful, providing for their needs every step of the way.

Based on his past experiences, Leo believes he is called to bring comfort and encouragement to those in need. He received comfort from God during his darkest hours and now seeks to help others overcome their challenges by turning to the God who “comforts us in all our affliction” (2 Corinthians 1:4). Having experienced the transformative power of the gospel many times, Leo has a passion for sharing God’s truth with others in both English and Mandarin Chinese.
