Stephen is a Northern Virginia native and lives in Falls Church, VA with his lovely wife Laura. Stephen has received a B.A. in Psychology and M.S. in Commerce, both from the University of Virginia. After working as a management consultant with McKinsey & Co., the Lord led him into vocational ministry, and he received his M.Div. from Capital Seminary at Lancaster Bible and was ordained in 2018. Prior to becoming a biblical counselor with Heart Song, he worked in Youth, College, and Young Adult ministries. Stephen has a passion for counseling, especially teens and young professionals, as the Lord shaped his faith greatly as a teenager and young adult. Stephen brings a holistic and empathetic counseling approach to biblical change and healing.
In their spare time, Stephen and Laura enjoy running on the local W&OD trail, exploring the restaurant scene in the Mosaic District, discovering new coffee-shops, and looking forward to the return of summer weather. Stephen enjoys being active, both physically and virtually, participating in the Faith & Fitness community at the Ballston CrossFit Gym and gaming with good friends.
