Jonathan is married to his lovely wife Nikki and together they have two sons, Shepherd and Bridger. Jonathan received his theological education from Reformed Theological Seminary and Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary where he earned his Masters of Divinity. He currently serves as Lead Pastor of South City Church with an emphasis on preaching and leadership development.
Jonathan has a big heart for people and believes that Gospel friendship is one of God’s most beautiful gifts to the church. He also believes that when we better understand our own stories and how they connect to the story of God that we are all swept up in, we discover our purpose and the redemptive power of Jesus working through every square inch of our lives.
Some of Jonathan’s favorite hobbies include following Boston sports, listening to podcasts of all types, spending time with family and friends in the outdoors, and engaging his inner-nerd with fantasy novels and expansive table-top board games.
