Jonathan is an approachable pastor and counselor who loves walking with people of all backgrounds. He currently lives in Richmond, VA with his wife Nikki and two sons, Shepherd and Bridger. Originally a graphic designer by trade, Jonathan was called into ministry in 2013. He has since helped to plant two churches and currently serves his church as Pastor of Preaching and Leadership. He received his theological education from both Reformed Theological Seminary and Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary where he earned his Masters of Divinity in 2017.
With a history of substance abuse and addiction as part of his story, Jonathan has experienced first hand the redemptive grace of God which meets us where we are. He believes that Jesus does his best work when we truly open up our lives to others and ask for guidance. It is one of the great privileges of his life to walk with others through seasons of suffering and redemption.
Some of Jonathan’s favorite hobbies include following Boston sports (don’t hold that against him), reading fantasy/sci-fi novels, listening to podcasts of all types, and playing boardgames with family and friends.
