Beth Spraul

Beth lives in Maryland with her husband, Greg, their two teen daughters, and their two golden retrievers, Cali and Summer. They are members of Capitol Hill Baptist Church, where Beth has served on staff part-time as a biblical counselor to women for the past 20 years. She loves the privilege of coming alongside women and couples and applying the hope of the gospel to unique situations. Born and raised in Indiana, Beth received a B.A. in psychology from Taylor University and earned her Masters in Christian Counseling from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky.

In what now feels like a former life, Beth played four years of collegiate volleyball followed by years of USTA team tennis. She now has a new love for watching her daughters compete in year-round competitive club swimming and club volleyball, where she can often be found traveling with them to cheer them on throughout the region. In her spare time, she hopes to finish the process of officially certifying Summer as a therapy dog later this year. She loves taking long walks with her dogs, playing tennis, growing her photography skills, and taking as many trips to the ocean with her family as possible.
