Cynthia’s counseling practice centers on the belief that God’s presence and power offer hope for healing and change. She believes God’s love provides space for individuals to explore their personal stories, find their place in God’s story, and experience His presence.
She has worked as a counselor at a women’s shelter, trained lay counselors, and now provides individual counseling virtually and in-person in the Washington D.C. area. Cynthia holds a B.A. in History from the University of Pennsylvania and earned her M.A. in Counseling from Westminster Theological Seminary. She lives with her husband and two children in Maryland.
