Justin considers it an honor and privilege to get to know and walk alongside his counselees and discover together how Jesus Christ and his redemptive work will always be more beautiful and enduring than anything else we can hope for. Justin typically counsels men, male teenagers, and couples.
While living in Arizona, Justin met Tania, his wife, while they were both studying environmental engineering at graduate school. They have been married since 2004. They lived 10 years in Uruguay, where their daughter, Keo, and son, Max, were born. After that, they lived for 6 years in Peru, where Justin served in various roles in the church. In 2021, he felt called to leave his engineering career and study biblical counseling after discovering how transformative it had been for his own life and relationships.
Justin and his family moved to Maryland at the beginning of 2024. He values any opportunity to run or hike with friends who also enjoy good conversation. He is an active member of The Well Community Church in Silver Spring, MD, including coordinating the lay counseling ministry. He plans to complete his Master of Arts in Counseling at Westminster Theological Seminary by the end of 2027. In his love for theologically rich music, he has found it helpful to incorporate gospel-centered truths from worship songs into the counseling process.
